November saw the first of our joint venture golf tournements take place.  Hosted by Peninsula, our clients and introducers were able to view the developments and taste the traditional Spanish delights of the Granada region.

All accomodation and food was provided for the Friday and Saturday, with a presentation dinner on the Saturday evening opposite the truly stunning Alhambra Palace - voted one of the top 50 places to visit in the world!

With a shot gun start on the Saturday, the golf began, with our very close friend and colleague Nigel Salmon winning the longest drive.

Sunday saw us all take a visit to the Sierra Navada ski resort - which hosts over 30 different ski runs between December and March.  Then back for another round of golf or a long lunch before being driven back to the various airports.

And the cost? Just the price of the flight!  Please watch out for our next trip, expected to be to the famous Monte Castillo in Jerez around March.

 The stunning slopes of the Sierra Navada are only 30 minutes from the Costa Del Sol coast, 20 minutes from the vibrant town of Granada and only 15 minutes from the beautiful Alhambra Palace.

So it is possible to ski the slopes in the morning, sunbath on the beach in the afternoon, play golf in the evening and go to a tapas bar at night for a sherry and some Flamenco dancing!

Jerez is home to the superb Monte Castillo golf course, famous for playing hosts to the Master Golf up to 2002. Desperate to regain the No.1 position, €24m is being spent on the facilities.

Surrounded by the Tio Pepe sherry lands and a Formula 1 racing track, the location has tranquility and excitement. With a separate hotel for conferences and professional football facilities used by the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, keep an eye out for some familia faces.
